California Privacy Notice

This California Privacy Notice (the "Notice") provides information to California residents only about how New Media Technologies, Inc. and its affiliated companies ("we," "us," "our"), operating the lifepolicycheck.org website, collect, use, and disclose personal information. For more details about our privacy practices and any privacy rights you may have, please see our Privacy Policy. This Notice is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, "CCPA").

Information We Collect From California Residents

We may collect information that personally identifies, relates to, describes, or is capable of being associated with you ("Personal Information"), including:

• Identifiers and Contact Information such as name, address, email address, phone number, date of birth;
• Insurance-Related Information such as desired coverage amount, beneficiary relationship, age range, tobacco use, and general health status as voluntarily provided through the quote quiz;
• Commercial Information such as the products or services that you have used, considered, or requested;
• Professional/Employment Information such as employment status;
• Internet and Network Information such as IP address, device ID, browsing/search history, browser type, device type and settings;
• Lead Certification Data such as TrustedForm / Jornaya tokens and session recordings used to evidence consent.

We do not knowingly collect Personal Information of California residents under the age of 18, and we do not sell or share such information.

How We Use Information of California Residents

We may use Personal Information for business purposes, such as to:

• Fulfill your requests: to connect you with licensed, independent insurance agents, agencies, carriers, and other marketing partners ("Insurance Partners") who can provide you with information about life insurance products you have expressed interest in;
• Marketing and market research: to send communications and offers, place advertisements, perform analytics for market research and trend analysis;
• Website use and analytics: to provide you with access to our websites and analyze usage, including through third-party analytics services;
• Business operations: to evaluate, develop, and improve business operations, products and services;
• Compliance: to comply with applicable legal requirements, including state insurance laws, TCPA/FCC rules, industry standards, and contractual obligations; and
• Information security and fraud prevention: to operate information security, lead-fraud, and anti-fraud programs.

Third-Party Selling and Sharing

We sell and share (for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising purposes) categories of Personal Information to third parties who are not our service providers. These companies may use your Personal Information for their everyday business purposes, including marketing life insurance and related products. In the past twelve months, we sold/shared Identifiers, Insurance-Related Information, Commercial Information, and Internet or other electronic network activity information to Insurance Partners and advertising/analytics companies (including Meta Platforms, Inc.) for marketing and analytics purposes. Sensitive Personal Information

To the extent any information we collect qualifies as "sensitive personal information" under the CCPA, we use it only for purposes permitted under Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.121 — namely, to provide the services you requested, to prevent fraud, and for quality and safety purposes. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you.

How Long We Retain Your Personal Information

We may retain each category of Personal Information for as long as needed or permitted based on your relationship with us, our legal and regulatory obligations (including TCPA consent recordkeeping, typically retained for at least four years), and our need to retain information for normal business purposes, including marketing.

Your California Privacy Rights

As a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA/CPRA:

• Right to Know: Request the categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you.
• Right to Delete: Request deletion of your Personal Information.
• Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate Personal Information.
• Right to Opt-Out: Direct us not to sell or share your Personal Information, including via the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor.
• Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: Where applicable.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise your rights, email privacy@lifepolicycheck.org with the subject line "California Privacy Request." You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification.

"Shine the Light"

California Civil Code § 1798.83 permits California residents to request, once per calendar year, information about the categories of Personal Information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, email privacy@lifepolicycheck.org.
